Transfer to Chinggis Khaan International Airport
Domestic flight to Murun city /800 km/
After landing, drive to Renchinlkhumbe town via frozen Khuvsgul lake
Traveling across the mirror-like ice of the seemingly endless frozen lake Khuvsgul is an incredibly stunning experience.

DAY 1 ULAANBAATAR CITY -MURUN - RENCHINLKHUMBE /1,000km/
Breakfast
Depart for Jargant river, Maanar culture
10:00 am: Opening ceremony of respect and devotion. The event will begin with offerings and prayers to the guardian spirits of the Maanar land. Participants will present ceremonial tea offerings, including black tea, Jodoi tea, pine resin tea, Baavar tea, and salty milk tea.
11:00 am: Presentation on the history and geography of the Darkhad Depression and introduction to the Jargant River, which remains unfrozen and ever-green even in the harshest winter.
12:00 pm: Lunch /Introduction to Maanar cuisine and tea culture./
02:00 pm: Water Spirit Offering ceremony at the Jargant River
06:00 pm: Dinner
07:00 pm: Fire Ritual in each yurt. Demonstration of Darkhad shamanic traditions, including blessings, healing rituals, and cultural performances led by shamans.
11:00 pm: Rest and tasting of Taiga Ritual drink

DAY 2 RENCHINLKHUMBE - JARGANT RIVER /15 km/

Travel around Jargant river - One of the region’s most mystical natural wonders. While the land around it becomes covered in thick snow and temperatures drop far below freezing, the Jargant River remains remarkably unfrozen (-40*) — flowing freely even in the coldest months. Shamans consider it a “living river”, a source of purity, renewal, and spiritual power
10:00 am: Traditional Maanar games and competitions such as Khorol, Uusen, and various snow games.
11:00 am: Guest Introductions and a photo contest featuring the Maanar homeland and the Jargant River.
01:00 pm: Lunch
02:00 pm: Snow blessing Ritual. In Darkhad belief, there are three divine mothers known as the “Javartai Spirits.” They are shamanic deities who, through sacred rituals and offerings to nature, perform the Snow Blessing ceremony to cleanse misfortune and discord from people’s lives.
05:00 pm: Grand Fire Ceremony. Offerings and communal fire festival.

Visiting a Tsaatan tribe /Reindeer herders/ - One of the last remaining nomadic reindeer herding peoples in the world and belong to the broader Tuvan ethnic group, and their way of life has been shaped by centuries of reindeer herding, which is central to their culture, economy, and spiritual practices.
Milking reindeer, and learning how they live - A rare opportunity to learn about a way of life that’s deeply tied to the land, the animals, and ancient traditions.
